How to sell?

1. Register free account here: Bidding.jtcars.net/register

2. Click the + icon

3.  Click on the PURCHASE NOW to purchase a package for submitting an ad.

4. Choose payment method

5. Enter your payment details accurately, then click PAY (the package amount)

6. You will be redirected to submit ad page. Fill in the details.

**PLEASE ENSURE THAT ALL THE INFORMATION YOU HAVE ENTERED ARE ACCURATE**

7. Click “I agree to terms & conditions” and SUBMIT POST. You will be notified by a green bar regarding your ads and it will be on Pending. Kindly allow our admin 3-5 working days for approval of the ads. You will receive an email regarding the update status of the ads post.

8. Once the ads are approved by our admin, the post will go LIVE straight away.

What is the process for submitting an Advertisement on JTCars platform?

All Advertisements must be submitted to JTCars for our consideration. The proposed Advertisement will be reviewed by JTCars in-house team, with input from independent specialists, if necessary.

JTCars does not represent, warrant and/or confirm the truth, accuracy and/or completeness of any information and details provided by the Seller in respect of any Advertisement and neither would JTCars guarantees a successful sale on any items advertised on JTCars platform.

The item that you want to advertise must be in your possession and in ready-to-be-sold condition. We do not allow items which are incoming, by pre-order or is encumbered.
Our team will contact you to review your submission as soon as possible during working hours.

Processing submission should not take more than 4 working days. You must have your ownership documents and ID ready so we can complete processing quickly. We reserve the right not process the submission or to refund your submission fee for any delays on your part when processing the submission.

During the Advertisement period, you grant us exclusive rights to advertise your item on our platform and through our channels. If any sale of an item is concluded outside of JTCars (Default Sale), during the Advertisement period, you as the Seller shall be obliged to pay the service fee to JTCars. The Service fee is calculated based on six percent (6%) of the lowest price or RM2,000, whichever higher, and capped at RM6,000.

We will also send you a proforma invoice for the Service Fee. This proforma invoice will be disregarded if the Live Offer event takes place as planned but will be enforced if a Default Sale occurs.

Will you publish all Advertisement that are submitted?

We will publish all Advertisements provided it does not fall within our prohibited list and meets our listing criteria.

What information do I need to provide to JTCars?

We aim to provide a transparent and insightful platform to all Buyers and this is why you shall provide us with all available information when you submit a proposed Advertisement to us.

When you submit an Advertisement for our consideration, please provide, at your sole risk and liabilities, amongst other things, the following: –

Detailed Description-
Current state and condition of the item, history, routine services, defects, repairs (or any repairs yet to be undertaken) or enhancements performed, accident damage, if any, in order to provide prospective Buyers an accurate description of the item so that they are well aware of them and can move forward.

Pictures-
You should provide clear and accurate pictures that are relevant to the advertised item to improve the quality of your advertisement, attract more viewers and thus increase your chance to sell your item.

The pictures should illustrate the good points and also the defects of the item to be advertised on JTCars platform. For example, pictures of the complete exterior from every angle, interior, condition of the electrical system, mechanical, dashboard, displayed mileage, identification number, upholstery, trims and controls, engine bay, wheel well, underbody, rust issues or damages, mechanical leaks or repairs, ownership documentation, services history, etc.

Location for viewing-
The Seller, at his/her own costs, expenses and risk, must make the item available for viewing to prospective Buyers during the Advertisement period.

Additional charges-
You must provide and include in your Advertisement any applicable additional charges or fees (such as transfer of ownership, inspection, insurance and road tax etc) related to the purchase so that the Buyer will know what is the total cost are involved to complete the transaction.

Warranties & Terms-
You must state your sales terms and conditions, deposit and refund policy and/or warranties, if any.

Unless specified otherwise, you shall ensure that your item must be of merchantable quality and free from encumbrances.

If you accept payments via financing, you must agree, at your sole liability and responsibility, to refund any payment of deposit received from the Buyer if the Buyer fails to secure financing for whatsoever reasons.

If my item is damaged or in bad condition, can I still advertise it on JTCars platform?

You can still advertise your item on JTCars platform as long as it does not fall within our prohibited list. But an accurate description is a must so that the prospective Buyers are fully aware of what they are buying.

For example, the advertised item could be a classic car that needs restoration, a damaged motorbike or a boat that is not road or sea worthy. As long as the Buyer is aware of its current state and conditions and has an idea on what are the potential issues or risks (if any) relating to the item that needs to be addressed moving forward, you may submit the item to be advertised on JTCars platform.

We do not approve stolen or “continued instalments / sambung bayar” items. All items must not have defective ownership and must be free from encumbrances.

The item that you want to advertise must be in your possession and in ready-to-be-sold condition. We do not allow items which are incoming, by pre-order or is encumbered.

Can I set a minimum selling price for the item?

You have to set a lowest selling price for all items. This is the minimum price agreed by you for the item to be sold on JTCars platform. Offers meeting or exceeding this price will constitute you agreeing to the offer amount and pre-approved to sell the item.

If the ‘Best Price’ offer falls, in JTCars’s opinion, slightly below the lowest selling price determined by you, JTCars may but not obliged to negotiate with both parties in hopes that a mutual agreement could be achieved and a sale can be concluded.

What happens once my Advertisement is published on JTCars platform?

A countdown will start and the advertisement can begin to receive offers. The duration of the advertisement is usually 4-5 days. You can also accept offers before the advertisement duration ends.

Registered users can post questions on your advertisement page during the advertisement period and you should reply them as soon as possible.

If applicable, you will need to disclose your inspection location and time for potential buyers to inspect the item before they submit an offer on the platform.

What happens if someone posts a negative comment on my Advertisement?

Our platform moderators allow people to comment by giving constructive opinions on an Advertisement, but don't hesitate to contact us if you believe any comment is inaccurate or abusive.

Do I need to make the item available for viewing?

Depending on the quality of your submission, many Buyers may be willing to purchase an item without inspection, but others may request for an inspection before purchasing. We, therefore, require you, at your own costs and expenses, to make the advertised item available for viewings whenever and wherever possible during the Advertisement period.

Buyers and Sellers shall not engage in any activity designed to complete or facilitate a transaction for the sale or purchase of an item outside of JTCars.

If any sale of an item is concluded outside of JTCars (Default Sale), during the Advertisement period, you as the Seller shall be obliged to pay the Service Fee to JTCars. The Service fee is calculated based on six percent (6%) of the lowest price or RM2,000, whichever higher, and capped at RM6,000.

It shall be the sole responsibility and risk of the Sellers and the Buyers to ensure their personal safety and security during the viewing of the item. JTCars shall not be liable and responsible for any accidents, losses, damage, injuries or death that may occur arising from any viewing of any item and/or due to the direct or indirect use of JTCars platform, its services and terms.

How do I find out the status of my Advertisement before it gets published on JTCars platform?

Every Advertisement is reviewed by JTCars and the status of each Advertisement is viewable on the Seller’s dashboard before it goes live. It is your sole liability and responsibility to ensure that the Advertisement contains an accurate description of the item. JTCars team may or may not inform you on when the Advertisement is updated, published or rejected. Therefore, you should check the status of the Advertisement on the Sellers’ dashboard from time to time. Prospective Buyers can start making offer usually 1-2 days after the Advertisement has been submitted to JTCars.

If the Advertisement gets rejected for whatsoever reasons, the Seller is able to see the status on the dashboard.

Can I make an offer on my own Advertisement?

No, you can NOT make an offer on your own Advertisement, nor can you engage someone to make an offer on your Advertisement on your behalf.

In the event that you or someone on your behalf has artificially inflated the offer price, we may divulge this information to the Buyer and provide them with an option to withdraw from the purchase. If the Buyer no longer wishes to purchase the item, you shall be responsible for paying JTCars the Service Fee. Additionally, you will also be banned from using JTCars platform.

Can I withdraw my Advertisement?

You CANNOT withdraw your Advertisement once it is published on JTCars platform. If you do withdraw your Advertisement before its expiry period for whatsoever reasons, you shall be obliged to pay the Service Fee to JTCars.

What happens at the end of the Advertisement period if the item is successfully sold?

When an item is successfully sold on JTCars platform, the Service Fee will be deducted from the Buyer’s payment card. This Service Fee is a chargeable fee for using JTCars platform and shall not be treated as a part payment for the item sold. Thereafter, both Seller and Buyer will be digitally matched and connected to complete the sale transaction accordingly.

Can you remove the Advertisement after it has been published on JTCars platform?

At the end of the Advertisement period, the Advertisement will be automatically removed from the JTCars platform but may still be accessible through old links and Google searches. We reserve the rights to remove any Advertisement at our sole and absolute discretion.

What happens if there are no offers above my minimum selling price?

There will be no new offers accepted after the Advertisement period is over. If you do decide to take the nearest offer available, you can notify JTCars within 24 Hours after the Advertisement period is over and JTCars will then, under no obligation, attempt to contact the Buyer with the nearest offer (Herein: Preferred Buyer) and negotiate if the Preferred Buyer is agreeable to proceed with the Purchase, JTCars will charge the Preferred Buyer the Service Fee and digitally introduce both Parties for them to conclude the transaction on their own.

If the Preferred Buyer does not want to proceed with the purchase AFTER the Advertisement period is over, he is not obliged to pay the Service Fee.

If the Preferred Buyer is not notified of the acceptance of his offer within twenty (24) hours from the end of the Advertising period, such offer shall be deemed to be rejected by the Seller.

If any offer is accepted by the Seller, and the Service Fee is paid by the Buyer, we will put the Buyer directly in touch with the Seller to complete the sale of the item.

What happens if I cannot or unable to complete the sale of an item with the Buyer?

If you cannot or are unable to complete the sale of an item due to ownership defects on your part, you shall be charged the Service Fee otherwise payable by the Buyer to JTCars.

For the avoidance of doubt, you shall be liable and/or responsible for any disputes, claims and/or actions as the Buyer may bring against you for the failure in completing the sale of an item.

What happens if the Buyer cannot or unable to complete the sale of an item?

If the Buyer cannot or unable to complete the sale of an item for whatsoever reasons, the sale between you and the Buyer shall be deemed cancelled. The Service Fee will be chargeable on the Buyer.

JTCars does not guarantee or warrant the Seller for the completion of any sale by any Buyer.
